RISSCO Fabrication began as Rhode Island Solid Surface Company when solid surface (Corian) became a very popular countertop choice. Not long after starting RISSCO, Paul Dubuc developed the idea of mobile fabrication and subsequently engineered a mobile fabrication unit (basically a solid surface countertop shop on wheels). From this idea MobileFab was born. Paul currently holds four different patents issued by the U.S. Patent Office on various stages of the MobileFab technology. MobileFab allows a solid surface fabricator to template, fabricate, and install a solid surface countertop in one day with little to no disruption to the job site. Today, MobileFab is primarily used in the commercial setting where solid surface countertops are most popular. RISSCO has adapted to changes in the residential kitchen and bath market by adding a wide range of countertop surfaces to their offering such as granite, quartz, eco-friendly and tile to name a few. Today, the showroom displays not only countertop surface options, but sinks, faucets, and backsplash options as well.
